Are you ready to get certified?  Are you already a certified scuba diver who is looking to advance your knowledge?  If so, congratulations on making the decision to become a PADI certified diver.  This is an exciting sport that opens up a whole NEW WORLD to you. Below are information about the classes which can be arranged to meet any schedule.  PADI eLearning is a flexible way to fit any course into your busy schedule.  Semi-private or private lessons, in your own pool if it is deep enough, and group lessons can also be arranged.  If you want to register for a class, please call Robert at 575-361-2030 to reserve your spot. 









Discover Scuba - Do you have an urge to learn to scuba dive but unsure if you will like it?  Safely dive under direct supervision of a PADI Professional.  Available in either a pool or open water environment you will get a controlled introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.  This course can earn you credit toward further courses but does not include certification.  Prerequisites: 10 years old.

PADI Open Water - Includes traditional classroom learning or PADI eLearning, PADI OW Crew Pack with eRDPml, scuba gear and air cylinder rental.  Personal gear (mask, snorkel, booties, fins) included and are yours to keep. 

Confined Water skill dives will prepare you for two Open Water days of demonstration.  Travel, lodging, site fees, and meals not included.  Pool skills may be performed in town or may be combined with open water dives for a 3 day weekend trip.

PADI Adventure Diver/Advanced Open Water - Includes traditional classroom learning or PADI eLearning, PADI AD/AOW Crew Pack, gear and air cylinder rental.  Personal gear not included, underwater lights and/or cameras needed for specialty dives.  Prerequisites include proof of Certified Open Water Diver from any training organization. 

Course encompasses five dives over two days.  AOW requires Deep and Underwater Navigation dives and three other dives of your choice from 15 types of Adventure Dives.  Travel, lodging, site fees, and meals not included.

Bonus! Adventure Dives may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course.

PADI Rescue Diver - Includes PADI eLearning, PADI RD Crew Pack, American Red Cross FA/CPR and Emergency Oxygen Provider certifications, scuba gear and air cylinder rentals.  Personal gear not provided.  Prerequisites include proof of Adventure Diver/Advanced Open Water Diver from any training organization.  Travel, lodging, site fees, and meals not included.

The most challenging and rewarding course you may ever experience.  Learning self rescue techniques, stress management for others, panicked and unresponsive diver rescue, and more will be practiced to provide you knowledge to respond to almost any emergency situation. 

PADI Master Scuba Diver - Includes 5 Specialty Diver courses of your choosing from more than 15 courses available.  Crew packs, gear and air cylinder rental provided.  Prerequisites include proof of Rescue Diver (or equivalent) from any training organization or equivalent.  Personal gear not included, underwater lights, cameras, or specialty equipment not provided but may be available for rental.  Travel, lodging, site fees, and meals not included. 

You have the passion.  You want to be the best you can and reach the highest non-professional level of diver education.  This rating provides you with a distinction less than 1% divers ever achieve.  Endless adventure and opportunities abound with this experience and training.






PADI Divemaster -  Includes traditional classroom or PADI eLearning (Dive Theory not included), PADI Divemaster Crew Pack, air cylinder rentals.  Scuba gear and personal gear not provided.  Prerequisites include; Open Water, Adventure/Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver (or equivalents) from any training organization.  20 logged dives to begin and 60 logged dives upon completion. 18 years old. CPR within 24 months.  Travel, lodging, site fees, and meals not included. 

A step into working within the scuba career.  As a professional level the PADI Divemaster program will have you working with a PADI Instructor.  You will hone your skills and knowledge to a professional level in both scholastic and practical demonstrations.  Leadership qualities are a must as you assist with student divers which will qualify you to supervise dive activities during your internship.

Additional Information and Resources

•All PADI courses require each student or parent/guardian where applicable sign an Assumption of Risk, Liability and Release Agreement and Medical Statement.  The student’s forms will be available at the first class. Unless there is reason, a medical doctor’s exam will not be required.

•The classroom instruction and pool work locations will be at 1211 E. Wood Ave., Carlsbad, NM.  The Open Water Certification dives will be at Balmorhea State Park in Texas. It is about 120 miles from Carlsbad. NM to Balmorhea, TX.  Advanced Open Water and Specialty dives may be held in additional sites like Santa Rosa, NM at Blue Hole and Perch Lake.  Further certification and specialty dives may be additional open water sites or accompany destination trips.

•You will be responsible to make your own lodging reservations at the sites or in adjacent towns. Also you will be responsible for the park entrance fees and diving fees charged by the sites.
